Forgive me, members of the Friday night GrainOffering group for rehashing but it amuses me π
This is purely stated to entice discussion and does not necessarily express my opinions.Β Paul posted recently a summary of our recent series on Galatians.Β Following is a snippet:
Galatians 5:6
ββthe only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.β Following in the steps of Jesus, Paul makes the point that the law really is summed up in acts of love for God and toward our neighbor. If this was good enough for the Galatians it is good enough for us.
So the question I have to ask is…Β If “the law really is summed up in acts of love for God” and we are told to express that love, then doesn’t that mean we are bound by the law?
