How Scoobyish are you?

I was really shooting for 100% – but still did pretty well.  You can blame nattyman  http://nattyman.blogspot.com/ for getting this quiz started.  😉

Scooby Doo: Ripped from the Headlines?

Score: 80% (8 out of 10)

They’re baaaaaaack

After 5 days at a youth camp in Colorado, Prince Hairy and Prince Valient are back home!  They tell us that their favorite part was the white water rafting.  Prince Hairy got hurt a little doing some rock climbing – nothing serious.  Prince Valient said that he was impressed with the the chapel time.  We were impressed with the study guide that they got from the camp – it is really neat and it has some really thought provoking questions.

It sure was a quiet week for us – we sure are glad they are back!  If you see them, you should ask them about their experience.

The greatest thing I noticed from this week was how the food remained in the house.  I had gotten used to the fact that 1 day after getting groceries there was nothing left.  Yesterday I went to the cabinet and there was chips, pretzels, and granola bars still there!!!!

Weird amusements

Forgive me, members of the Friday night GrainOffering group for rehashing but it amuses me 😉

This is purely stated to entice discussion and does not necessarily express my opinions.  Paul posted recently a summary of our recent series on Galatians.  Following is a snippet:

Galatians 5:6
“–the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” Following in the steps of Jesus, Paul makes the point that the law really is summed up in acts of love for God and toward our neighbor. If this was good enough for the Galatians it is good enough for us.

So the question I have to ask is…  If “the law really is summed up in acts of love for God” and we are told to express that love, then doesn’t that mean we are bound by the law?

17 looooooong years

I just cannot believe it.  This Saturday it will be 17 looooooong years since QP and I were married!  I am not certain which is more amazing:  that she would put up me so long or the other way around.  😉

Anyways, happy anniversary, Babe!
